It seems like most of the damage was in the older portion of Leh and in Choglamsar (the Tibetan camp outside Leh). Though the news is disheartening (especially about Josh and his companions) it sounds as if you are taking the press of time and the pressures on history in stride as we must. I've been watching them work on Marjory's home, basically doubling it in size, and it has made happy to see the activity, but also makes me wonder who is building new small homes. I keep an opinioned eye on the construction and again get to feel like Bert's replacement. Aside from the comings and goings that is about the only change happening here in your old haunts.
Also, I'm hoping that we're a step closer to getting this page de-listed as threat, I think it is just residue.
